That Halloween glow. When I was figuring out how I wanted to decorate the Spooky Little Apartment this season, that was the phrase that popped into my head right away…and I think I captured it best this year in my living room.

Well, here’s a first for Spooky Little Halloween: it’s 10 days after Halloween, and I’m just now getting around to sharing more of my home tour. But then…that kind of feels appropriate given it’s 2020. 🤷♀️

My annual home tour almost didn’t happen this year. The back half of my October has been a little all over the place, and I was all set to bypass this tradition. After all, I don’t drastically change how I decorate year-to-year, so once you’ve seen one year…you’ve kind of seen them all.

It’s the final day of the 13 Days of Creepmas on Spooky Little Halloween, and we’re going out with a bang. Each year I decorate my apartment for the Halloween season…and then I redecorate it after Thanksgiving for Spooky Christmas. I did this for the first time in 2017 and loved the results. It was the perfect way to make Christmas my own again. I didn’t do much decorating in 2018 since I was in the midst of a move (to the far, far away location of across the hall to the bigger apartment), so that meant I was extra excited to break out Spooky Christmas again this year.

Each year, there’s one spooky space I love decorating more than any other: my bedroom. As a Taurus, my bedroom is my sanctuary. It’s where I spend a lot of my time doing things I love like reading, writing in my journal, listening to music and watching all those terrible mindless reality TV shows on Bravo…

When you’re a Halloween blogger and October rolls around, EVERYWHERE is fair game for a little Halloween decor. Today I’m showing off a few of my unexpected spots I decorate for Halloween each year in the second 2019 installment of my Halloween home tour. Yesterday, I showed you how I’m doing Halloween Lite in my living room. It’s the perfect spooky space for watching a Halloween movie or two!

It’s that time of year again: Halloween home tour week! Since I started the blog in 2015, I’ve given a little tour of how I decorate for Halloween each October. Is it over the top? No. Is it #HalloweenHomeGoals? No. Do I keep it up all year? Aside from the newly instated Halloween office, no.

As a writer, having a designated space for creating is important to me. Growing up, it was my desk butted up to my bedroom window that looked out into the lush, green backyard. In college, it was whatever desk space I was granted. Post-college it was still that desk space, but the older I’ve gotten…the more I’ve found myself wanting an entire room – not just a corner – dedicated to creating.

Last week was a BIG one on Spooky Little Halloween – I spent all five days sharing my own Halloween home tours, plus a few tips for decorating your own spooky space. This week, I wanted to show off YOUR spaces.

Today we conclude my Halloween 2018 home tour with a look inside my living room! This is always one of my favorite areas to decorate because I spent a LOT of time here in October. This year, I completely redid the wall behind my TV and, if I’m honest, I probably overdid it a little…
