One of my favorite things about our little Halloween community is all the small businesses! Over the last 5+ years of running Spooky Little Halloween, I’ve not only shopped with a ton – I’ve also made friends with many spooky small business owners. They’ve been highlighted over the years in my Small Business Saturday posts (links at the end of this blog post). This Halloween season I even turned my attention away from big box stores and towards small businesses in my Halloween Hunting series to introduce you guys to a few new favorites.

Love Halloween AND reading? Then this gift guide is for you! In early 2018, I decided to combine my own love of Halloween and reading by starting the Spooky Little Book Club. We’re now a group of 2,100+ (WOAH), and we have a blast reading spooky books together all year long. Learn more here!

There’s no better way to show off your spooky side all year long than with a Halloween T-shirt. I’ll admit, in recent years I’ve stepped away from T-shirts a bit. You’re more likely to find me in a dress – yes, even on the weekend – but Halloween has slowly brought me back around on this essential as I’ve slowly amassed my collection.

Over the last few years, I’ve fallen in love with Halloween candles. Burning them all year long keeps a bit of that October magic alive for me…and I’ve definitely found a few favorite places to grab them online. I love these shops because most of the candles are handmade from soy. I’m also sensitive to scents and have found in recent years that mass-produced candles usually trigger headaches for me, but I have yet to experience that problem with candles from small businesses!

This blog post has become one of my favorite traditions of the holiday season. Each year, I make an effort to continue to find new small businesses and creators making amazing Halloween goodies for us. The best part about these shops? They’re open all year long!

Happy May 2! In addition to today being exactly 26 weeks away from October 31st (EEK!), it is also my birthday. This post has become something of a tradition for me. Partly because I’m a materialistic Taurus (hey, I can own it) and partly because I love sharing spooky boils and ghouls making killer Halloween products with you guys.

When I asked what kind of gift guides you guys wanted this holiday season, vintage Halloween decor was one of the most popular.

One of the few things I love as much as Halloween is coffee. And man, have I been on a coffee kick this fall! I’ve finally found my sweet spot with our favorite kind of black magic, and I can’t seem to quit it.

Are you ready for a visit from Krampus? If you’ve been naughty this year, he’s sure to drop by on the night of December 5.
