My 2020 Halloween Wish List

I haven't done a ton of shopping during Halloween season this year for obvious reasons.

While I’ve popped into a few stores here and there, I’ve missed my weekly Friday evening Halloween hunting trips. But if I’m honest…I’ve found just as many – if not more – tricks and treats from online shops this season.

Every Friday in August and September, I usually share a Halloween hunting post from a store I’ve visited. This year, I focused on small businesses that sell Halloween items all year…and still have my eye on a few things.

Here are 10 items on my Halloween wish list for 2020 from small businesses I think you’ll love too.

My 2020 Halloween Wish List

Tiny Ghost Earrings from The Cosy Cauldron

While I have a little collection of Halloween earrings already, not all of them are dainty like these ghosts. They’d be perfect for wearing all year! GET THEM THERE

Frankenstein Quote from Cottonwood Designs

I eyed this as a canvas at Kirkland’s last year…and waited way too long. But a printable for just $4? Yes please! GET IT HERE

Is It Halloween Yet? Sticker from The Geeky Knot

I fell in love with The Geeky Knot last Halloween season and love this vinyl sticker asking my most-asked question…is it Halloween yet? GET IT HERE

Hocus Pocus Tarot Card Set from Neuer Geist

If you’re like me and love tarot card artwork, you’ll love this set of three “Hocus Pocus”-themed tarot card prints. GET IT HERE

Cold Brew, Coffins & Covens Tee from A Black Star Co

I’ve had my eye on this T-shirt all summer. I even love the burnt orange color, a rarity for me. GET IT HERE

Pumpkin Medley Cardigan Sweater from Foxblood

How fun is this pumpkin cardigan? Heavy sweaters are my favorite for fall and winter – once it finally cools down in Texas, that is. GET IT HERE

Spirit Board Pinafore from Unique Vintage

I trick-or-treated myself to quite a few things at Unique Vintage early on this season…but I still have my eye on a few items, like this pinafore. GET IT HERE

Simply Spooky Pajamas from Creepy Co.

I’ve had my eye on Halloween pajamas more than usual this year because of the Spooky Slumber Party coming up on Oct. 30. I love this Beistle-inspired pair from Creepy Co. GET THEM HERE

Candy Corn Machine Pin from Layla Ashtar Shrine

Can you tell I love enamel pins? This gumball machine full of candy corn is so clever and cute! GET IT HERE

Halloween Mischief Sweater from HalloweenCostumes.com

And finally…how darling is this ugly Halloween sweater design? I have a few of HalloweenCostumes.com’s sweaters and love how soft and cozy they are. Can’t wait to add this one to my closet too! GET IT HERE

Hello!!! I love your site! I am contacting you because you seem to know everything there is to know about Halloween stuff! We are having a socially distant party for about 8 girls. My daughter wants to hide eyeballs with candy in them around the yard for a hunt (like Easter eggs). I love the idea but canโ€™t find plastic fillable eyeballs. The pingpong-type eyeballs could work if we could open and close. Have you ever seen such a product? Thanks so much for reading and even more if you know where I might find these. Julie

Hi Julie – I’ve never seen something like that. My suggestion would be to try Amazon for plastic Easter eggs (or repurpose some you already have), paint them and use them for this purpose.

Julie, maybe these vending machine capsules can help? I searched Amazon.com and found these Semi Colored Round Capsules Big Size 2.6 inch – 5 Colors Bulk 50 per pack.

    https://www.amazon.com/Vending-Machine-Capsules-Colored-Gumball/dp/B0831CJHWS/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=vending+machine+capsules+white&qid=1603120615&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyQzVaSTlLMUlEMVNEJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNjI2OTUyMjRTMVRRSzlDSDBZRSZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNzM2OTQ3MVAwVDQ0MDhZMkxLJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==

To make them spooky, I’d take permanent markers to draw pupil dots and red veins on them!
