Halloween Hunting: Gothic Lamb

?>

One of my favorite activities this time of year is Halloween hunting.

But, like everything else in 2020, it looks a little different. In past years I’ve shared snapshots of what the big box stores have on shelves this year. And you know what? They can do their own marketing. 😂

This year, I’m using this series to highlight small businesses – and this week, I’ve got a cool clothing brand created by an alternative Black girl for “the melanated misfits who live for a darker aesthetic”, as she describes it.

Meet Gothic Lamb. The company started in 2016 when founder Lucy loved alternative clothing…but didn’t see herself represented in their marketing. The best way to solve that problem? Do it yourself. And I’m sure glad she did because she has an eye for the subtly spooky that will keep you feeling like your Halloween self all year long.
