Jigsaw puzzles are tied to a very specific holiday memory for me - but it isn't Halloween.

Growing up, Thanksgiving was a day for board games and puzzles. I remember my mom putting the flattened card table on the floor in the living room, opening up a jigsaw puzzle and all of us spending the day working on it.
It’s a memory that’s some flooding back as my parents, brother and sister-in-law send their constant updates to our family text about their puzzle progress during the quarantine. They’ve all already gone through at least two…and it’s given me a bit of FOMO because I have zero puzzles lying around the Spooky Little Apartment.
Plus, somehow, I don’t think my ghost is going to be up for doing a puzzle together. Maybe if I bust out the Ouija board…
But I digress. And, being me, I started hunting for a Halloween jigsaw puzzle or two I could enjoy. I figured you might enjoy them too during this time, so here are my 13 favorite designs I found online.

Here’s a spooky puzzle I own, but fair warning, it’s pretty hard. But gotta love the Gorey print! https://goreystore.com/products/edward-gorey-dracula-in-dr-sewards-library-puzzle

I LOVE this post! It amazes me how you keep coming up with Halloween things to write about.
I do jigsaw puzzles on my iPad so my cats won’t jump on them and ruin them — maybe I should look for Halloween iPad puzzles!

It’s all part of the fun for me: challenging myself to Halloweenify new things! Let me know if you find a digital puzzle to enjoy, Laurie. :)

That candy corn one would totally be up my alley, not just because it’s candy corn, but because I love the more challenging ones. I love puzzles, but I hate having to break them apart and put them back in the box afterwards. I wish I could hang them up, but doing that is it’s own level of work. =__=
