The Halloween Lover’s Gift Guide to Halloween Candles

?>

Over the last few years, I've fallen in love with Halloween candles.

December blog posts are part of the 13 Days of Creepmas. This post contains affiliate links. See my disclaimer.

Burning them all year long keeps a bit of that October magic alive for me…and I’ve definitely found a few favorite places to grab them online. I love these shops because most of the candles are handmade from soy. I’m also sensitive to scents and have found in recent years that mass-produced candles usually trigger headaches for me, but I have yet to experience that problem with candles from small businesses!

If you’re looking for a gift idea for the Halloween lover in your life this holiday season (or just looking to add something fun to your wish list), here are 11 places you can shop for Halloween candles!

Gift Guide to Halloween Candles

A to Z Candles

Sarah over at The Spooky Vegan introduced me to this candle company when she shared their Halloween collection in 2018. I bought a sampler collection of all the scents and fell in love! You’ll have to wait until next Halloween for those but in the meantime, you can grab scents like Apple Cider Donut and Witches Brew! SHOP NOW

Burke Hare Co.

Burke Hare Co. was one of the first candle companies I took notice of that had a Halloween collection…and man, does it sell out FAST every year! Lucky for us they have several year-round scents with a spooky twist…and even a Christmas collection that includes a Krampus candle! SHOP NOW

Country Witch Candles

This shop is new to me, but I’m thrilled to have discovered it! I love that Heather sells her candles seasonally, offers just a few specialty items and puts a lot of love into what she does. SHOP NOW

Dio Candle Company

Here’s another new-to-me company that carries Halloween scents all year long! Dio has candles inspired by your favorite Tim Burton flicks, like “Beetlejuice” and “Nightmare Before Christmas”, as well as scents for Halloween lovers. SHOP NOW

Ember Candle Co.

Ember Candle Co. has been included in a LOT of my blog posts because their skull candles are second to none. I can never get over the attention to detail or a variety of colors of these candles. Plus, what Halloween lover doesn’t need a candle shaped like a skull? SHOP NOW

Flickerink

Who doesn’t love a good poisoned apple or tea leaf reading? Grab a candle from Flickerink inspired by some of your favorite stories! SHOP NOW

It's Small Business Saturday - this year, shop spooky! Here are 12 of my favorite new small businesses I've discovered in 2019 that I think you'll love.

Lichen and Limestone

I just featured Lichen and Limestone in my Small Business Saturday post, but I wanted to include Gretchen in this post too because I’m a big fan of her candles. She has a huge variety of options, and her shop stays spooky all year long! SHOP NOW

Lunar Light Co.

Looking for some decorative spooky candles? In addition to Halloween-inspired scents, Lunar Light Co. also carries unscented decorative candles as well as perfume oils, body potions and more. SHOP NOW

New Moon Beginnings

How gorgeous are these candles? I love that the tops of every single one are sprinkled with herbs and crystals. There are plenty of Halloweeny scents for your favorite Halloween lover as well as witchy wares if that’s your thing. SHOP NOW

Scented Spells

One of the things I like about Scented Spells’ shop is it also includes wax melts which are perfect for people like me who *ahem* aren’t supposed to burn candles in their apartments according to their lease. (Shhh…don’t tell!) That murder mystery one definitely caught my eye. SHOP NOW

Storybook Candle Company

A last but definitely not least is Storybook Candle Company. I’ve been following Cayte for a few years now, and she is always putting out amazing candles based on her favorite stories and folklore. Her shop inventory also changes seasonally, so there is always something new to discover! SHOP NOW

Who makes your favorite Halloween candles?

I’m always looking for more small businesses, like these, to check out. Share your favorite spooky candle maker in the comments!
