Like every Halloween lover, fall is my favorite time of year. I love when the first cold front blows through, the changing of the leaves and the excuse to start getting cozy under blankets.

But my second favorite season? Winter.
I suppose that’s because I live in a relatively mild climate where temperatures below 50 degrees are deemed winter and just the idea of snow is enough to paralyze the entire city. (Yes, you are allowed to laugh at us silly Texans for that.)
I’ve always found the colder months to be more peaceful and prefer them over the busy-ness and chaos of spring and summer.
No season would be complete without a bit of Halloween in it, so today I’m sharing a few of my favorite finds for winter that will keep you and your home spooky!
9 Halloween Things You Need When Winter is Coming
1. Pumpkin Frenzy Sweater from HalloweenCostumes.com
Winter is ugly sweater season, and while I’d argue this one is pretty darn cute…it’d be the perfect unexpected thing to wear to an ugly holiday sweater party. GET IT HERE
2. Bat Slippers on Amazon
Keep your feet cozy all winter long with these soft slippers. I love them because they’re only $10 on Amazon! GET THEM HERE
3. Halloween Quilt from Darling Ghoul Studios
This quilt is everything I love about Halloween: jack-o-lanterns, ghosts, bats, candy corn. Plus I love that, unlike most throw blankets you spy in stores during the Halloween shopping season, it’s actually quilted. GET IT HERE
4. Cemetery Walk Candle from Lichen and Limestone
One of my favorite ways to make any space feel cozier is by burning a candle, so why not make it a spooky candle? Lichen and Limestone’s store is full of them, but I especially like Cemetery Walk. GET IT HERE
5. Eyeball Hot Chocolate Spoons from JJ Chocolates
Make your hot chocolate even more decadent by stirring it with a chocolate spoon, complete with an eyeball! GET THEM HERE
6. Ouija Planchette Mitten Pattern from Hart Knit
One of my favorite things to do in the winter is knit, and we all know what a sucker I am for anything with a planchette on it! If you need a spooky craft project this winter, make your own mittens with this pattern. GET IT HERE
7. Halloween Bomber Jacket from Darling Ghoul Studios
One more from my ghoul Keely because I love her designs so much! Who doesn’t need a Halloween jacket to keep them warm? GET IT HERE
8. Candy Corn Beanie from Hayley Crochet Baby
I love a good hat, and winter ones are my favorite. I especially love this candy corn-inspired beanie for its subtle colors and giant grey pom on top! GET IT HERE
9. Jack-o-Lantern Scarf from Nicole Ray Fashion
And finally, who doesn’t want to be wrapped up in the warmth of glowing jack-o-lanterns all winter? I love the print of this infinity scarf. GET IT HERE
