Halloween Hunting: Michaels 2019 Halloween Collection, Part I

?>

Y'all. Michaels hit it out of the ballpark this year.

It took me a little longer than I hoped to get myself into a fully-stocked store between my work schedule and traveling to Dallas for Texas Haunter’s Convention. I tried my best to avoid everyone’s photos on Instagram (I totally liked a ton of them without looking…) so I could be surprised.

And damn. Michaels did NOT disappoint. One of the reasons I love their Halloween decor is the variety. They’re excellent at nailing their aesthetic and over the past few years, they’ve refined their gothic vs. classic Halloween decor beautifully.

Here is a peek at some of my very favorite things I spotted in their 2019 classic/vintage Halloween collection as we kick off weekly Halloween hunting blog posts for 2019!

Hello, happy place.

I need more Halloween throw pillows like I need another hole in the head, but these are gorgeous!

This countdown sign is super cute – and perfect for right now since we’re in double digits to Halloween!

Take a virtual tour of my fave finds from the Michaels 2019 Halloween collection before you shop in-store in this Halloween hunting post.

Perfect for candy OR cookies!

Loving the serious vintage vibe of all these pieces.

That fortune spinner is definitely finding its way home to the Spooky Little Apartment before Halloween season is over…

I love this Old Salem Brook Company sign too!

This would look beautiful in the Halloween office all year…

Loving these simple treat dishes! They would be a perfect prize for a costume contest – just add a bit of candy or a homemade Halloween treat!

Pumpkin cider, you say? *immediately figures out a recipe for the blog*

Don’t forget to shop for spooky Christmas while you’re out there! Here are 18 items to keep an eye out for.

I love haunted houses for decor but hate that most of them include glitter. This ceramic house is the perfect alternative!

WHERE TO FIND THESE HALLOWEEN GOODIES

Find something you can’t live without? Items in this post are available at Michaels. Find your local store. I also recommend downloading their app (iOS or Android) to keep an eye on coupons all Halloween season!

Retro Halloween has never been my style, but it seems as though it’s been a long time since it has hit the retail stores in a significant way. (Thus, the market for actual old retro Halloween items.) I know a lot of people love it, and Michael’s has done it so well, so… it’s about time!! That spinner is pretty darn fun.

Wow – there’s a lot of retro-looking things! My store hardly had anything out when I went there to pick up my ceramic tree. I noticed there were only 3 of the 4 available nutcrackers in your pic – I hope that doesn’t mean the jack-o-lantern guy is going to sell out fast – I better go get him!

Love your site! I am desperately looking for the Witch Nutcracker from Michaels. They sent me 3 of the black cat nutcrackers so I could trade someone that received too many witches. Does Michaels have a blog that I could ask if anyone has a witch nutcracker to exchange. Thanks for your help!
