Halloween Hunting: Cracker Barrel 2019 Halloween Collection

?>

It took a little more hunting than normal, but late last week I finally spotted a bit of Halloween at Cracker Barrel!

If you’ve never been, Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite road trip restaurants. You can always count on quality food like your grandma makes no matter where you go in the U.S. Most locations tend to be out on the interstates across our country, but in Houston we’re lucky enough to have several scatted around the suburbs.

Last weekend, my friend Laura and I stopped by one Houston location for brunch and Halloween hunting…and we totally struck out. When I asked about Halloween, I got the usual, “You’re too early for that, come back in September.”

Cut to me thinking, “Um. You totally had it this weekend last year. Don’t tell me what you always do because I’m pretty sure I know more than you.”

I literally became that Nick Offerman meme.

I tried a second store late last week while housesitting for my brother out in the burbs…and succeeded! There was just one table of Halloween treats with only a handful of items I hadn’t seen before, but spotting the spooky stuff at a Cracker Barrel was a welcome milestone in the 2019 Halloween season. It’s happening!

Here’s what I found.

Hello, Halloween!

This, in my opinion, is one of the two coolest things available at Cracker Barrel this year.

Need some sugar skull pumpkin salt and pepper shakers for your kitchen? I loved the colors on these guys.

This was my other fave find! It’s a little pricey, in my opinion, at $27 for the size…but it’s also such a fun light.

Cracker Barrel never disappoints with the book selections.

Lots of sugar skull goodies to be had!

Because we all need a light-up Halloween throw pillow…right?

According to my friend Mike over at All Hallows Geek, this is the first time “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” has ever been released on vinyl!

WHERE TO FIND THESE HALLOWEEN GOODIES

Find something you can’t live without? All items in this post are available at Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores. Find your local store.

You can check out even more items – and order online – on the Halloween section of their website. (For my international friends – unfortunately, Cracker Barrel only ships within the United States.)

Wondering when Halloween will hit your favorite store’s shelves?

I’ve got a cheat sheet in my summer 2019 Halloween Zine just for that! Download it now.

Then keep an eye on the blog – I’ll be sharing more early collections soon (looking at you, Cracker Barrel!) and starting Friday, Aug. 2, I’ll be posting a Halloween Hunting blog every Friday through the end of September from all our favorite major stores.

SO fun! I love those. Thanks for sharing. I’m looking forward to the weekly Halloween hunting posts.

I went to the Cracker Barrel website hoping for a video clip of the animated house, but no luck. The item descriptions on that site are really not very detailed at all… Wish I could hear the sound on the raven cuckoo clock, too – it’s such a fun concept.
