HAHAHA…just kidding, Halloween friends. We all know the cobwebs are permanent decorations around here… (I might say yes to some sunshine though – even in Texas, it’s been a downright dreary winter.)

If the Marie Kondo bug didn’t bite you, there’s a good chance the spring cleaning one will. When the weather starts to warm up and the days get longer, I find myself doing a little extra sprucing around the Spooky Little Apartment.

And, like everything else in my life, I may as well Halloweenify it, right?

Today I’m sharing a few ways you can do a little Halloween spring cleaning. The first half of today’s post includes some fun – and spooky – cleaning products…including a few you may not have known you can buy year-round. The second half of today’s post? Some gorgeous Halloween items you’ll need to spruce up your living space.

So let’s get to it – time to Halloween spring clean!

Halloween Spring Cleaning Products

Because Halloweenifying your cleaning products makes it more fun to actually, y’know, clean…right?

Mrs. Meyers Multi-Surface Cleaner, Pumpkin Scent

If you’re a Target devotee, you probably know Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day products come in pumpkin scent in the fall…but did you know you can buy it year-round on Amazon? This is the perfect way to Halloweenify your spring cleaning. GET IT HERE

Mrs. Meyers Hand Soap, Pumpkin Scent

And just in case you need some pumpkin-scented hand soap for your kitchen, you can also grab a bottle (or 15) on Amazon all year long. GET IT HERE

Activated Charcoal Soap Bar

Activated charcoal is such an easy way to make anything feel more gothic and spooky. Why not add this bar to any sink where you regularly wash your hands? GET IT HERE

Vegan Pumpkin Spice Laundry Detergent

Oh yes, you read that correctly – PUMPKIN. SPICE. LAUNDRY. DETERGENT. And this one from Etsy is vegan to boot! Now your clothes can smell like your favorite scent all year long. I can’t think of a more fun excuse to do one of my least favorite chores. GET IT HERE

Dish Scrubbie in Pumpkin

I may not like doing laundry, but I enjoy washing dishes. (Good thing since the Spooky Little Apartment doesn’t have a dishwasher.) This reusable dish scrubbie isn’t pumpkin scented, but it’s the perfect shade of orange to remind me of pumpkins! GET IT HERE

Skeleton Dish Scrubbie

And as long as we’re having fun with dishwashing…here is a purple skeleton scrubbie if it’s more your style. GET IT HERE

Pumpkin Spice All-Purpose Cleaner

Here is one more pumpkin spice cleaner to make your whole home smell like fall. (Not pictured, but the link will take you to the pumpkin spice listing!) GET IT HERE

Sage Spray

If you need to clear out negative energy in your home, sage spray is just the thing. I have one I love using, and while you can’t purchase it online anymore, I know the girls of Thorn and Moon, based here in Houston, make the most amazing products and you’ll love theirs! GET IT HERE

Halloween Spring Cleaning Decor

Does your home decor need a little Halloween spruce? (Answer: yes, yes it does…)

Haunted Manor Candle by Lichen and Limestone

One of my favorite things to do after cleaning the Spooky Little Apartment is light a candle (shhh…don’t tell my landlord – they’re technically outlawed in our lease…) and fill my space with my favorite scents.

The Haunted Manor candle from Lichen and Limestone (named for the lichen that often grows on limestone grave markers) is a blend of peppermint, eucalyptus and moonlight – relaxing and perfect for this ghoul. GET IT HERE

Spring Ghost Throw Pillow from Odd Like Us

I need another throw pillow like I need another hole in my head, but I am obsessing over Odd Like Us’s (formerly One Happy Lania Co.) spring designs. The ghost and bats are my fave, but the haunted house is a very close second. GET IT HERE

Skull Planter by Nurris Unique Products

If you have a green thumb, you’re likely excited to pot and plant new things to grow. How perfect would this skull be with flowers growing out the top all spring? GET IT HERE

Haunted House Welcome Mat from Primrose Handmade

Live in a haunted house? I would totally put this out all year long! Esp. since, y’know, I actually live in a haunted building… GET IT HERE

Spider Web Suncatcher from Wicked Stained Glass

I’m a longtime follower of Candice on Instagram and love her gorgeous work. Suncatchers always feel like the perfect addition to a sunny window in the spring and summer. This beautiful spider web is currently in her shop, but I encourage you to follow her and see what else she’s working on. GET IT HERE

Macabre Tumbler Set from Counter Culture Design

Spring equals patio weather, and these gorgeously gothic glass tumblers are perfect for enjoying lemonade, iced tea or, if you’re like me, your favorite cocktail. GET THEM HERE

Skull Adirondack Chair from M and W’s

And if you’re going to enjoy the patio…you might as well enjoy it in style. You can buy the completed chair, as shown above, as well as the plans to make it yourself over on Etsy. GET IT HERE

I think my husband would put the kabosh on all the pumpkin spice scented cleaning items (but he hasn’t seemed to notice the “vampire blood” foaming hand soap in the kitchen – LOL!!)
I’m very interested in the sage spray!

Vampire Blood is one of my fave Halloween scents from B&BW! :) Love that you are still using it.

I love having a sage spray since technically I’m not allowed to burn anything in my building, and I love other products I’ve purchased from the girls at Thorn and Moon!

I am going to have to get some of that Sage Spray! There’s something about sage that just makes everything feel so refreshed after it’s been used. And that spiderweb stained glass! OoO That is goals right there.

I would probably add some new dish towels to the mix. I love using them as a way for subtile hinting to the next season.
