Halloween Hunting: Target Dollar Section 2018 Halloween Collection

?>

For most Halloween lovers, the dollar section at Target is a must-shop spot every season. It's always loaded up with items that are budget-friendly and freakin' adorable.

In short, Target pretty much NAILS Halloween every single year.

And 2018 is no exception, though finding a fully stocked dollar section has proven challenging. Around Aug. 20, I started seeing posts on Instagram with people sharing their finds. I began my own hunting later that week, but the items seemed to trickle in slowly. A few socks here, a few buckets there.

Exciting and frustrating all at the same time

And the thing is…as soon as you see something in the dollar section at Target you even remotely think you might regret not buying, you better grab it before everyone else comes along and wipes them out. (See the saga of finding all three neon lights!)

So just in case you haven’t dropped by your Target yet or are wondering what you may have missed, here are some of my favorite items I stopped in the dollar section of my Targets.

I always love these candy dishes…but never have a GOOD use for them.

This sign is super cute!

I keep debating on this sign. It’d be cute since my email list is called Treats Not Trick, but then again…would I really use it for anything else?

Those silly neon lights I hunted down, literally…

These covered fairy lights are darling!

I also keep debating about these scarves. At $3 for how heavy they are, I feel like they’re a steal. BUT…I live in Houston, and it’s NEVER cold enough for scarves in October…

Six Halloween cups for $1! These would be great to stick candy in as a prize for costume contests at your party.

Target always has the best Halloween notepads!

And the best socks. I buy way too many…

These canvas totes are adorable and only $3.

Banners to feed my banner obsession…

I brought home one of these witches brew candles because I loved the scent. It’s kind of pumpkiny and appley. I’m just as shocked as anyone that I liked it…
