11 Halloween S’mores Perfect for the Campfire

August 10 is National S'mores Day, and the Girl Scout in me is always excited to celebrate. I grew up making these around the fire with my besties at camp. They're delicious and nostalgic.

You may not know, but the first recorded recipe for a s’more actually came from a 1927 Girl Scout handbook. Pretty cool, right?

And, of course, being the Halloween lover I am…I wondered if there was a way to Halloweenify s’mores. I bet you can get the answer…

While a lot of people associate s’mores with summer, I like them in the fall. (Probably because of all those camp memories!) There’s nothing better than sitting next to the fire on a crisp fall night and letting ooey, gooey melted marshmallows and chocolate warm your insides.

    I wish you had an options to print all of the recipes together….I collect and make recipe binders….your recipes would be fantastic.
