The beginning of May is an exciting time for this Halloween lover. Not only are we marking the halfway point to Halloween – I’m also celebrating my birthday!

So is one of my favorite Halloween lovers I’ve met via Instagram – Anette, aka the Norwegian Halloween queen! Since my birthday is May 2 and hers is May 6, we decided to team up this year to share our Halloween birthday wish lists. After all, there is nothing better than getting Halloween goodies for your birthday, right?

Keep reading for the 7 Halloween treats on my birthday list this year, then head over to Anette’s blog at norwegianhalloween.com to see her wish list for even MORE Halloween goodies. (While you’re there, be sure to stop by my post in her Halloween queens series!)

My 2018 Halloween Birthday Wish List:

Darling Ghoul’s Fright Board Spirit Board throw pillow – $22

Darling Ghoul is one of my FAVORITE Etsy store finds from the past year, and I am obsessed with her spirit board designs! This throw pillow would be the perfect addition to my collection.

Verona Black’s Candy Corn Bag – $74

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the girl behind Verona Black, Danielle, when I visited Sleepy Hollow last month. I, of course, snagged a few goodies from her in person (which she hand-delivered after ordering on Etsy – what service!) But this gorgeous candy corn bag is still on my wish list. Keep an eye on her shop – she has a TON of new stuff coming very soon.

Die With Your Boots On’s RIP Skater Dress – $52

I was just recently introduced to Die With Your Boots On, but I am already obsessed. I’m also on the lookout for killer Halloween dresses to wear to Midsummer Scream this year. This one is WAY up there on the must-buy list.

The Spirit Den’s Enamel Pin – $10.99

Here’s another shop I am newly obsessed with. I love just about everything in The Spirit Den’s Etsy shop, but this enamel pin was the first thing to lure me in – I’ve fallen in love with this phrase this year.

Poison Apple Print Shop’s Art Print – $40

Laura, aka @thehalloweencollector, introduced me to Poison Apple Print Shop the weekend we made our spooky flower crowns. There are SO many gorgeous goodies in this shop’s collection! The print above, called Venecopia, is one of my favorites I’ve seen so far. It’d look great in my Halloween bedroom!

One Happy Laina Co’s Halloween Shopping Bag – $34

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I LOVE this! Every Halloween lover needs a designated Halloween shopping bag, right? I’m hoping to grab this before I head off to Halloween conventions later this year.

October 31st’s Halloween Candles – $14.93

I’m mostly dying to get my hands on one of these candles for those labels! How adorable are they? My link above will take you to the listing for the Trick-or-Treat candle, which is vanilla and blueberry scented. Haunted House is frankincense and myrrh scented, and Samhain Night is apple and cinnamon scented.

Do you put Halloween treats on your birthday wish list?

You should! (Esp. if you have a mom like mine who shops off my blog – love you, Mom!)

Looking for more ideas? See my 2017 wishlist right here.

And to all of you who wished me a happy birthday earlier this week, THANK YOU! It meant a lot this year.

Happy haunting,

Miranda | Spooky Little Halloween

Miranda is the Houston-based writer, blogger, and Halloween lover behind Spooky Little Halloween, the blog celebrating October 31st all year long. Her favorite Halloween things include pumpkin guts, chocolate bars in her trick-or-treat pail, real haunted houses (including the one she lives in!), and historic cemeteries.

Oooh! New shops to browse! I hope you’ve recovered from your birthday. You deserve Halloween happiness always!
At Halloween, I remind my family that they can knock out Christmas, Mother’s Day and my birthday all at once at the Dollar Store. After Halloween sales work too.

Can I just say how much I love that your mom goes and shops off your lists for you! It’s awesome. I put Halloweenie stuff on my list all the time. Especially clothes. XD PinupGirl Clothing has some of the cutest Halloween-themed clothing. I want it all, but my wallet’s too thin as it is. XD;; I’m loving the name of the shop “Die with your boots on”! So cute! And that shopping bag! Although I feel like if I bought it, my hubby would say I can’t buy whatever Halloween stuff doesn’t fit in the bag. XD
