I have a love-hate relationship with pumpkin spice. I can’t stand pumpkin spice lattes or coffee creamers. Pumpkin-scented candles are not my jam. It’s just not my thing.
But give me pumpkin baked goods any day.
Enjoying unique pumpkin recipes for sweets is one of my favorite ways to make every day feel a little bit more like October – and like Halloween. So as our autumn days are quickly fading away, I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite pumpkin recipes I’ve found on Pinterest to share with you.
And, in my opinion, they’re even better than a hot pumpkin spice latte.
7 Pumpkin Recipes You Need to Try:
Pumpkin Pie Bombs
These little gems are a fun alternative to a traditional pumpkin pie.
Pumpkin Spice Sugar Cookies
Despite their name, I love sugar cookies because they’re not super sweet. Add a bit of pumpkin, and you have a perfect fall cookie.
Chocolate Pumpkin Cupcakes
Chocolate and pumpkin might seem like an unlikely combination, but I love them both. Add some cream cheese frosting, and you have the perfect fall dessert.
Pumpkin S’mores Cupcakes
And while we’re talking cupcakes…how fun are these pumpkin s’mores cupcakes? Two great fall traditions brought together in one delicious dessert.
Pumpkin French Toast Sticks
Need a little pumpkin jolt in the morning? These french toast sticks are easy to make and coated with a crunchy cinnamon sugar mixture. Good enough to make for dinner in my house!
Pumpkin Buttermilk Cake
This cake looks downright decadent. It just needs a cup of coffee…or a huge glass of ice cold milk.
Pumpkin Spice Pecan Fudge
This one might be a bit too decadent for me, but I just love the color of this pumpkin spice fudge!

Those both look delicious, don’t they?

I don’t know when pumpkin spice became all the rage, but it’s certainly not my thing. I’d definitely take candy corn over pumpkin spice any day. I do love my pumpkin pie though and those pumpkin pie bombs sound absolutely delectable. I might have to give those a try for my family’s Thanksgiving dinner this year!

You and I are totally on the same wavelength about pumpkin!

I lovelovelove the look of the Pumpkin pie bombs! I want to eat them right the heck now!
I have an old pumpkin cookbook and once made pumpkin leather. It’s like Fruit Rollups, but tastes like pumpkin butter. I need to find that cookbook!
