September is one of my favorite months of the year. I’ll assume you know what my first pick is, given the content of this blog. What makes
So what makes September my second favorite?
By this month, all our favorite stores have shelves upon shelves FULL of Halloween goodies just waiting for a good home. We’ve been doing some serious Halloween hunting this year on the blog, and today I’m wrapping up my trip to Joann with a few more assorted goodies for you. (See my first post here!)

Halloween Crafts

I love Halloween crafting aisles – so many possibilities!

I need that bat chalkboard for life.

Halloween Costumes

Joann’s is a great spot for piecing together simple costumes on a budget.

For example, buy a few simple costume pieces, like a mask and headband. Pair it with color-coordinated clothes you already own, and you have an easy costume!

Meanwhile, I’d be buying all the tutus because I wish I could wear them all the time without looking ridiculous.
Halloween Socks

Halloween socks, however, are something I wear all year long – and Joann’s is one of my favorite places to stock up! The bats with orange stars at the bottom left came home with me.

I love the two at the bottom right with pumpkins – anything with a jack-o-lantern on it draws me in these days.

The car argyle pattern is fun!

I also love the vampire fangs and bats.

Halloween Soaps

In case you didn’t know, Halloween soap is mandatory in your spooky home.

The jack-o-lantern jar is, naturally, my favorite.

Halloween Fabric
And of course, no trip to Joann’s would be complete without taking an opportunity to ogle their beautiful Halloween fabrics!

That skeleton key fabric on the far right came home with me.

The fancy Halloween fabrics!

I love this spider web.

And this jack-o-lantern, which would be adorable as a tablecloth…or something more!
Here are a few of my favorite prints:

I love the classic look of this fabric.

These Halloween polka dots are SO cute!

I love all the detail in this print.

These Halloween cupcakes, though, have to be my very favorite.

Happy haunting,

Jessica
You’re lucky! My Joann didn’t have that much Halloween fabric! I might have to take a look at the bigger one and see what I can find. I plan on making a couple quilts and possibly some skirts or extra accessories to wear during October
Miranda | Spooky Little Halloween
We have a few BIG stores in Houston that had a lot of fabric. Most of the ones I visited didn’t have much.
