Halloween Hunting: Dollar Spot at Target

?>

Halloween 2017 has officially arrived at Target! I have seen it with my very own spooky eyes. I was beyond thrilled when I popped into one of my local stores and saw the swath of orange and black gracing the Dollar Spot shelves.

There wasn’t much, but I immediately jumped on my Instagram stories to share my finds. (Which is to say if we aren’t Instagram friends already…we should be!)

Today, I’m giving you a first look at what I found so far. More to come – I’ve already seen additional Halloween items for the Dollar Spot on Instagram, and I’ll update this post as I find more. (I was just too excited to wait!)

Plus, take a peek at the goodies I scored for myself at the end of this post. I’m excited about them.

Happiness!

Crafty goodies!

These little canvas favor bags were adorable – and only $1!

I’ve been on a hunt for Halloween notebooks for all my blog notes. These guys are adorable.

Quick and easy costumes for you lazy people. (I’ll continue to make my own.)

I may have bought BOTH of these…

These would be cute for trick-or-treating!

By the way, did you know there are tote bags in my Halloween 2017 collection over on Society6?

Cheap – and cute – Halloween stickers are one of my weaknesses.

I loved how colorful these $1 plates were!

Kid socks! I didn’t see any adult sizes…yet.

The adorable, tiny throw pillows are back!

This spider pillow was darling with his little felt legs – he’d be a fun addition to my spooky couch.

Spooky slime sips on the go! (You can bet this witch would toss a little vodka or rum in hers…)

These metal pails have been a long-time favorite. Pro tip: buy the ones you want as soon as you see them. These never last long.

Fabric trick-or-treat buckets!

So…what did I come home with?

Because you know I couldn’t leave cheap, cute Halloween goodies behind…

Here’s my mini haul:

I’m a sucker for cutesy, little things like stickers and temporary tattoos. I loved those plates, and you can’t beat the price! Looking forward to using them for blog projects through the rest of the year. And that little jack-o-lantern bucket charmed me. At just $3…I decided he needed to be mine.

This is just a first look at what’s in the Dollar Spot at Target – I’ll continue to update this post as I find more!

Update 8/23/17:

Here are a few more items I spotted earlier this week!

$1 coloring books are back!

How darling are these milk glasses? And only $1! Three came home with me…

Knee-high socks for kiddos. Still no adult socks spotted yet this year…

There was also an entire little section of “crafting shapes” you could use for cards or garlands or whatever your spooky little heart desires!

They came in lots of different materials too – felt, paper, tissue paper…

And some mini-candy dishes! Too cute.

You are so lucky over there! It will be weeks yet before I see what little there is for Halloween stuff here in the U.K. Until then I will just have to envy your photos.

I went to three different Targets hoping to find Halloween in the dollar spot, none have it yet. I really want the Pins (I just ordered myself a jean jacket last weekend) and I NEED that middle set of 200 stickers. My Halloween cards are trick or treat bag themed and Ive been hunting for candy stickers in bulk and not having a fruitful time. They’re either two expensive for how many you get or they have a tiny amount of candy and a bunch of ice cream/cake.

Hopefully one near you will have it soon! I love those pins too. None of the stores I visited had a full collection out yet, so there is still LOTS more to come!

I *HAVE* to pick up one of those milk-bottle glasses before their gone, but can I just say, your dollar spot looks soo different from mine! I haven’t seen those solo googley eye cups yet and I’m kind of really in love with them. There are some similarities, but my Target only just put out Halloween things in their dollar spot last weekend. @_@ Have you seen the enamel pins too? They would make great party prizes and they’re only a $1 for two! OoO

I haven’t seen two Dollar Spots that look the same this year – every single one has had different items! So crazy.

I did see the pins and bought the pumpkin and “boo” ones. Your idea for party prizes is genius. Think I might be going back for more now. :)

It’s official. Your Target is WAY better than mine. We are STILL waiting for Halloween stuff. They have a lot of it out (yay) but there are still bare shelves (boo), so I guess I will just continue to live vicariously through your posts!

I’ve been to four stores in the past four days, and each one has had a different amount of Halloween stocked. I think it goes quickly, so as soon as they start putting it out…it all disappears again.
