I love Halloween parties. I've been throwing my own for nearly a decade, and it's the highlight of my October every year.

And if you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m also on a mission to get you, my favorite Halloween love, to throw your own party too!

Over the last few months, I’ve shared a few of my secrets to get you started:

Today, I want to give you a little party theme inspiration, so I’ve rounded up some of my favorites I’ve found on Pinterest over the years!

By the way, Pinterest is one of my favorite tools for Halloween party planning! Learn how I use it.

For today, let’s get back to some killer Halloween party inspiration! See a party idea you love? Click the “get inspired” link, or click on the image, to see the full party!

Haunted Mansion Party

Pizzazzerie is one of my favorite sites for party inspiration. This take on the Haunted Mansion for a birthday party could easily be repeated for a killer Halloween party. Get inspired.

Halloween Dinner Party

For years, I’ve thought about making Halloweenie Roast a dinner party – this party from Camille Styles has the perfect balance of gothic and gorgeous and has me all kinds of inspired. Get inspired.

Vintage Horror Movie Party

Horror movies more your style for October? Turn your favorite – or favorites – into your party theme! You know I love a good Halloween party theme, and a movie is super easy to weave into every detail, from the invites and decor to the food and even your costume! Get inspired.

Mickey Halloween Party

Hosting a party for your kiddos? (Or maybe you’re just one of those crazy Disney people?) This adorable Mickey-themed Halloween party from Michelle’s Party Plan-it is a great way to be spooky, not scary. Get inspired.

Mad Scientist Party

Whenever I see a mad scientist party, I am always impressed by the decor. There are so many fun things you can do that aren’t nearly as hard to pull off as they seem. A few assorted jars, a little water with food coloring and a couple questionable items…and you have a creepy collection of specimen jars! I love this take on the mad scientist theme from The Happy Heathen. Get inspired.

Witch’s Tea Party

Witch tea parties are one of the most popular party ideas I see on a regular basis. I threw my own take on this in 2015, just after starting Spooky Little Halloween. Witch’s teas are an easy way to blend spooky and stunning together, like in this party from Frog Prince Paperie. Get inspired.

Classic Halloween Party

You can never go wrong with a classic Halloween party full of black and orange, candy and pumpkins! I definitely want a birthday party like this someday! Get inspired.

“The Raven” Halloween Party

As an English major, I have a lot of literary heroes. Throwing a party based on a classic work is a natural fit for me. I love seeing parties designed with Edgar Allen Poe’s classic poem, “The Raven”, in mind. Get inspired.

Willy Wonka Halloween Party

Searching for cool Halloween parties is one of my favorite ways to waste time on Pinterest. Last year my search led me to this Willy Wonka-themed party from Parties for Pennies. While it isn’t a traditional pick for Halloween, I fell in love with it! Yet another way to incorporate something you love, like a movie, into a costume party. Get inspired.
