All October posts are part of the Countdown to Halloween! Please note: the giveaway mentioned in this post is now closed. [Updated Oct. 27, 2016]

I like one-of-a-kind things. A LOT. And if you love Halloween, I’m betting you do too.

How do I know? Well, I have this theory (one that you guys have reinforced with your responses on Instagram when I ask why you love Halloween): I think Halloween lovers were, by in large, the misfits growing up.

We liked things everyone else thought were weird or strange. We were the kids that didn’t quite fit in or never felt like we had a place.

But not on Halloween. On October 31, it’s okay to be whatever you want and no one cares if it’s weird or strange.

As a result of this theory, I tend to gravitate towards things like jewelry, home decor and clothing I know no one else will have. I like being different.

In college, I went through a phase where I made tons of T-shirts using photos and lyrics I loved. I bought cheap, plain T-shirts and iron-on paper at craft stores. I spent a lot of time carefully designing them, only to have the designs fall apart on me after a couple times through the washing machine.

I wish StickerYou.com existed back then. It would have been the perfect solution to creating lasting T-shirts!

Lucky for me – and you – they exist now and are a great resource for creating anything from custom stickers and temporary tattoos to, yup, you guessed it, iron-on labels just like this:

sticker-you-tote-bag

These iron-on labels are perfect for a last-minute Halloween costume, personalizing your kiddos treat bags or whatever your Halloween-lovin’ heart can dream up!

Here’s how it works:

There are two ways you can use Sticker You’s products:

First, you can order online by uploading your own artwork or selecting a pre-made design on StickerYou.com. Sheets are $14.99 + shipping and can fit up to four designs. (More if they’re small designs!)

Check out this video for a full tutorial:

Second, you can buy a Make and Print Fabric Transfer Kit at most Hobby Lobby’s in the U.S. or at Walmart’s in Canada and print your own at home! These kits retail for $12.99, but the price may vary at your store.

Check out the tutorial for this option:

Here’s a peek at the product:

My new friends at Sticker You saw how much I loved Halloween and sent me a few products to check out:

I can’t believe this is just an iron-on – the quality looks 100% professional – like someone paid big bucks to print this! And I’m not just saying that. I really dig how it looks.

Seriously – so, so nice! (And such a cute design too!)

sticker-you-candy-bag2

This mini candy bag is adorable too – and perfect for all my chocolates!

Here’s an example of what you’ll get if you order a page – four designs on one page. They fit perfectly and are die cut so all you have to do is peel and iron!

And here’s a peek at the full DIY kit.

These are so cute! I’ve never done an iron on before, but there’s a first time for everything. Haha

I’m a lunch bag junkie and use everything for lunch bags. Especially any kind of Halloween bag I can find (grocery store reuseables).

That mini bag is adorable!! I love things in miniature.

I love the idea of the iron-on clothing labels, especially for my business. There’s really so much that they offer on there, it’s hard to not let my imagination run away with me! Something I think the iron-on transfers would also be great for would be making some designs on shirts and solid-colored skirts more Halloweenie. I’m always looking for Halloween-themed clothing and even though I made some for myself this year, it does add up cost-wise and also takes time to make. Ugh, so many ideas!

Also, my mom goes really out for Halloween and decorating her house, I could see getting creative with the window clings. My mom loves buying them, but I could only imagine the possibilities if she was able to make her own!

I like the idea of making personalized stickers on cute goodie bags. But for real, the temporary tattoos are tempting.
