It's time to dust off the Halloween playlists! If you're me...that happened in mid-July. And I'm still not entirely sure I've made it all the way through my master playlist, which runs more than 14 hours these days with 230+ songs. (2019 update: it's more than 24 hours long now!)

So how do you wind up with that many songs on a playlist? Through lots and lots and lots of listening.

Hunting for new Halloween tunes is one of my favorite little pet projects. This Halloween season, I thought it’d be fun to share some playlists with you guys centered on a theme. Between now and October 31, I’ll be posting 4-5 monster themed mixes featuring some of my favorite songs I’ve found.

Today we kick things off with 14 of my favorite songs about witches.

    So happy to see Witch Hunt on there, I’ve loved that song since it came out when I was a teenager!
