  1. Pour one can of defrosted limeade into pitcher.
  2. Measure 1/2 can of tequila and add to pitcher.
  3. Measure 1/4 can of triple sec and add to pitcher.
  4. Measure 1/2 can of sour apple liqueur and add to pitcher. (Add more to taste, if desired.)
  5. Measure 1/2 – 3/4 can of water and add to pitcher. (Add based on taste.)
  6. Mix all ingredients well and refrigerate until well-chilled, if desired.
  7. To make garnish, wash one green apple, one lime and one jalapeno. Use a mandoline slicer (I just bought one very similar to this) to cut fruit and jalapeno into thin slices. Use caution when slicing as mandoline blades are VERY sharp.
  8. To assemble sour apple margarita, add ice to glass if desired. Pour margarita mix into glass. Top with desired garnishes, and enjoy!
Recipe Notes

If you wish to make your margaritas frozen, mix margaritas in a blender (mine is great for blended drinks but no longer made – this version is comparable though). Use limeade frozen instead of defrosted, and replace water with 2-3 handfuls of ice. Adjust the amount of ice to the thickness desired from drink.
