Halloween Hunting: Joann’s Halloween 2017 Collection

The best day of the year is creeping closer. And yet another one of my Halloween benchmarks has been met: Joann stores have added their spooky offerings to their shelves!

This is one of those stores I love wandering repeatedly all Halloween season. Sometimes I see things I want immediately for my collection. Other times, I spend my time dreaming up DIY projects I could make with all the goodies I see.

Today, we’re diving into the home decor items. Check back later this week for more of the crafty items at Joann this year, plus some miscellaneous finds.

I know I say this every post, but an aisle FULL of Halloween is truly the happiest sight on earth.

Let’s dig in!

I want all of these bags! They are so adorable.

Every time I see this in the store, I get the line from “Rocky Horror Picture Show” stuck in my head, “Stay for the night, or maybe a bite…”

Hello, friends.

My new home!

My other new home!

My other other new home! 😁

Door Mats

Here is one Halloween item I don’t own…

This one, naturally, is my favorite. I love anything with “trick or treat” on it.

Day of the Dead

It still amazes me how much Day of the Dead decor you can find in stores.

But…Day of the Dead also seems to equal glitter central, and I am officially one of those anti-glitter on Halloween decor people.

This felt banner (of course!) is adorable.

Lights

I am such a sucker for any kind of light, but I’m especially a sucker for Halloween lights…

This marquee bat is my favorite.

As are these black chandelier lights – they would match my comforter perfectly in my Halloween bedroom.

So many possibilities for these all black weeping willow-style light-up trees.

Table & Window Decor

I want every single last one of these!

Hand Towels

One of my Halloween weaknesses…they’re decorative AND useful!

Here are a few of my faves:

Halloween Signs

And lastly, no trip to Joann would be complete without ogling all the Halloween signs!

What these little guys look like lit up.

Yes, I took this photo super awkwardly…everything was too jammed into this section to want to try and move it.

Just in case you’ve always wanted a Halloween shovel…? But wait –

There’s TWO of them! I always love the most random things I find…

This candy corn wreath was a favorite last year, and one of the things I regretted not buying. I think I will make it mine this year once the price is right…
