Which blogs does the Halloween blogger read? ALL OF THEM! Yes, I might write a Halloween blog, but you better believe I’m reading other Halloween blogs all year too!
When I got started with Spooky Little Halloween, it was just meant to be a little side project – an outlet for my Halloween obsession. (You can read my origin story over here.) But all it took was a few quick Google searches to discover there were other bloggers out there sharing their love for Halloween too!
So I started reading them – not to check out the competition but because I wanted to find some spooky friends! And I definitely have.
If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you’ve surely seen me share something from these sites before. Today I’m sharing with you five of my fave Halloween blogs with you. (Be sure to tell them Spooky Little Halloween sent you!)
The Spooky Vegan – thespookyvegan.com
Sarah, aka The Spooky Vegan, also does Halloween year-round. She has a special affinity for horror movies and is always sharing reviews and Netflix picks! She is also, as the name implies, vegan and covers local events, reviews vegan restaurants and shares her favorite products.
The Homicidal Homemaker – thehomicidalhomemaker.com
Kaci, the genuis mind behind The Homicidal Homemaker, is constantly whipping up creepy treats and eats perfect for horror and Halloween lovers. I love her sense of humor and the vintage vibe to everything she does. Kaci also just celebrated one year on YouTube – be sure to check her out there!
Pumpkinrot – pumpkinrot.com
Want to get lost in someone else’s Halloween world? Pumpkin Rot is the place! The Halloween lover behind the site does an all-out yard display every year. When you delve into each year, you’ll discover yard tours, peeks behind the building process and so much more. Annual archives go all the way back to 2001, so there is LOTS to see. I get lost here when I need Halloween inspiration!
The Haunted Housewife – thehauntedhousewife.com
Sam is a girl who knows how to keep it spooky 365 days a year. When she’s not sharing her love of Halloween and all things spooky, she’s sharing how she keeps her hair such gorgeous colors, her fave make-up and even blogging tips. You can take a spin through her spooky archives for a Halloween fix. (I love her spooky living room tour from last May!)
Mr. and Mrs. Halloween – mrandmrshalloween.com
Mr. and Mrs. Halloween is a recent find for me, and I’m really enjoying their posts! The couple are also a great resource for spooky movies on Netflix and Hulu, and I recommend browsing their archives for decor and food ideas and even their stellar tips on how to do Halloween Horror Nights.
