Subscription Boxes for Halloween Lovers

There is a subscription box for everything these days. And I do mean everything. (Trust me, I've Googled.) Luckily for Halloween fiends like you and me, that includes subscription boxes celebrating our favorite day of the year.

This post is updated as new subscription boxes are discovered or discontinued. Bookmark it and check back often. Last update: March 2018.

Yes, really! I think you’ll be surprised by how many there are.

Today I’ve rounded up these boxes that are perfect for every Halloween need you have, whether you’re a die-hard horror fan, are obsessed with pumpkin-everything or love spooky beauty products. Let’s get right into them.

Subscription Boxes for Halloween Lovers:

Boxes are listed in alphabetical order. Some boxes may have an additional shipping cost, which I have done my best to indicate. Some may also have shipping restrictions, such as only being available in a particular country. Please review the box website and policies carefully before subscribing.

Run a subscription box you’d like featured in this post? Email a link to your website to for consideration.

Box Bewitched

Cost: Starts at $14.99

Frequency: Monthly

If you love the witchy side of life, Box Bewitched is just the thing you need. Box Bewitched founder Kari created this subscription when she couldn’t find a service that had a bit of everything. From witchy apparel and jewelry to crystals, herbs and altar items, Box Bewitched has it all. There are three tiers of subscriptions; plus, a portion of each sale goes towards helping homeless and sick cats in need.

Box of Dread

Cost: Starts at $24.99

Frequency: Monthly

Box of Dread comes from the horror-lovin’ folks over at Dread Central. Each month, subscribers receive a box of horror-themed merch and collectibles, some of which are only for Box of Dread subscribers. Items include collectible posters, enamel pins, comics and even Funkos! You can check out more of what they offer on their website.

Box of Goth

Cost: £24 (approximately $35 in US, does not include customs charges)

Frequency: Monthly

Box of Goth is an alternative subscription box service that delivers a mix of dark and delightful, gothic and horror-inspired goodies to your door every month! Each box has a different box theme every month, and items will range from jewelry, accessories, homewares, trinkets, crafts and art. Their two-person team designs and hand-makes at least half of all boxes items (even our boxes are handmade!). While all items will be the same for each box, they may be slightly different due to being handmade. Any other items inside their boxes that are not handmade are customized by their team or manufactured for Box of Goth.

Creeper Crate

Cost: $29.95

Frequency: Monthly

Creeper Crate is the subscription box for women who love horror. Each month, the box includes 5-7 items that range from bath and beauty products, accessories, apparel, home decor, collectibles and more. Every month has a theme, and members can subscribe by the box or monthly. It is available internationally!

Creepy Crate

Cost: $29.99

Frequency: Bimonthly

When was the last time opening your mailbox gave you chills? Subscribe to Creepy Crate and every other month you will receive a collection of darkly humorous wearables, killer desk accessories, horror-themed artwork and more.

Glamour Ghoul

Cost: Starts at $13

Frequency: Monthly

Make-up lovers, this one is for you. Glamour Ghoul boxes are jam-packed full of spooky cosmetics you will love that also happen to be cruelty-free and handmade by independent sellers! You might also find extra spooky goodies, like zipper pouches and candles mixed in with your glamorous treats. See my review of this box.

If you don’t want to pay for a full box, you can now also purchase a $13 monthly bag. Have a little one who likes spooky goodies? Be sure to check out the Little Ghouls and Goblins boxes too!

Horror Pack

Cost: $19.99 for DVD, $24.99 for Blu-Ray

Frequency: Monthly

Want to discover new horror movies? Get four DVDs or Blu-Rays delivered to you every month when you join Horror Pack. From major franchises to indie flicks, you’ll get a little bit of everything with this subscription. Boxes are also curated so as not to include movies that are currently streaming or found all over stores – they are truly curated picks to make each month unique.

Nightshade Cellar

Cost: Varies based on box

Frequency: Monthly

Nightshade Cellar is the subscription box for “the pampered goth”. Each month’s box has a unique theme and items, which means price varies from box to box. Enjoy bath goodies, jewelry and more to celebrate the darker side of life.

The Occult Box

Cost: $34.95

Frequency: Monthly

Love witchy surprises? The Occult Box delivers vegan, cruelty-free and handmade items, such as bath and body products, decor, apparel and supplies or tools, to your doorstep every month. Each box has a unique theme, and you can subscribe by the box or long-term. This box is available internationally!

Order of the Thinned Veil

Cost: Starts at $50

Frequency: Annual

The Order of the Thinned Veil is a tiered style of membership for the year. There are four levels of membership and each has its own set of perks such as exclusive artwork, a newsletter, certificates, contests and invitations to special events!  Members will also have access to exclusive items available ONLY to current Order of the Thinned Veil members. Additionally, members will engage in the ceremonial planting of their own pumpkins to eventually carve into Jack O’Lanterns with included seeds. This will be an OTV community event!

Parcel of Terror

Cost: $35

Frequency: Monthly

Handmade horror items are what you’ll find in your Parcel of Terror! From stickers and T-shirts to art prints and other assorted items, you can be sure every last goodie in this subscription box is a true original no other horror fan will have yet – or see ever again.

Spooky Box Club

Cost: $49+ (US price which includes shipping, £26.50 for UK subscribers)

Frequency: Monthly

This was probably the first Halloween-y subscription box I ever came across…and the one I’d most love to subscribe to. If it’s spooky AND cute, it’s in this box. Goodies range from enamel pins and bookplates to art prints and candy. One recent box I saw on Instagram even included a DIY bat-wing kit for adding wings to your favorite combat boots – cute! (P.S. You can also score past boxes.)

Witch Baby Soap Spell Box

Cost: $40

Frequency: Quarterly

You’ll have to be on top of your game to snag a Witch Baby Soap Spell Box! These subscriptions go out four times a year and can be purchased individually OR for a full year (which gets you a 10% discount!). Each includes custom made bathbombs – one for each full moon during the season you’re purchasing it for – plus other Witch Baby Soap samples and witchy treats.

So now comes the million dollar question…

Which Halloween-y subscription box would you pick?

I hope this post has introduced you to at least one you’d never heard of! I’ll continue to keep my eyes peeled for more to share with you guys.

Happy subscribing,

I just signed up for the Glamour Ghoul Box, so I can’t wait to see what it’s like. It sold me not only on the great items, but the cruelty-free makeup.

Thanks for the post, because all of these sound so cool! I wanna treat myself to them all!

You have totally made my day with this post! If only this sort of box was available here in mostly non-Halloween celebrating England.

I was trying to search for the Hallow-fiend subscription boxes but it would tell me that there was no web-site for it! And I was REALLY REALLY excited to join that box club……So I was wondering if you knew maybe what happened to the site or if you know of any other HALLOWEEN -ISH box clubs that I can check out? P. S. I LOVE YOUR SPOOKY LITTLE HALLOWEEN BLOG!! I checked it out almost everyday for ALL YOUR STORIES AND EVERYTHING ELSE YOUR PUMPKIN HEART DISHES OUT FOR US HALLOWEEN LOVERS TO ENJOY! Thank you Mirada.

I’ve been a subscriber to Mister Ghost for a couple years now–I tried to quit once, but I missed it so much I signed up again.

The Horror Pack reminds me of the long-defunct and short-lived William Shatner movie club. I can’t even remember what it was called, but it included some interesting stuff.

The Spooky Box looks just about irresistible. Along with about four others…

I checked out several of these and some of them are not around any longer; Box of Dread being one of them. Hallow-Fiend appears to not be a subscription box any longer. They only have one box and then you can send someone a gift. Too bad because there are not a lot of boxes out there for Halloween lovers.

I was wondering if you’d heard anything about a company named sub/cult . Found 7 reviews online, of mixed reviews, and was hoping to find EVEN MORE REVIEWS on them, which led me here, lol.

Hi Sunni, thanks for reading! I haven’t heard of Sub/Cult, but I’m not sure it’s something I would write about here – I’m 100% focused on Halloween.

Such a pain that none of these are available in England. Alas, its not much of a Halloween celebrating country, but its fun looking at what you can get on your side of the Atlantic.
